whatsoever o ther name or names the same or any of them be called or known and all Cottages edifices, and buildings thereupon all which premises are lying and being within the late proporc[i]on of land called the Haberdashers’ Proportion or late Manor of ffreemore in the late County of Londonderry and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premisses or any p[ar]te thereof belonginge or the rewith enjoyed except and allwaies reserved unto his Ma[ies]tie his heires and successors A ll mines and also all Timber and all Timber trees, growinge or beinge or which hereaf ter shall grow or be in or up[p]on the p[re]misses or any p[ar]te thereof with liberty to fell cutt do wn and carry away the same, and liberty to hawke, hunt, ffishe, and ffowle up[p]on the premises at reasonable and convenient tymes and allso reservinge and except ing unto his Ma[ies]tie his heires and Successors all the ffishinge and takeinge of Sa lmon Eeles and other ffishe in the rivers and ffishings of Bann, Loughfoyle Lough Neagh als[o] Loughe Sydney and in all the rivers, creakes, and streames within the province of Ulster and every of them, and all the ground and soyle of the said rivers creeks [and] streames, with free liberty, ingresse, egresse [and] regresse for the tenants Occupyers [and] ffishers of the said rivers [and] ffishings and their servants [and] assig ns to build and make howses, shedds and other convenient places for lodginge of ffishermen [and] others to be imployed in and about the said Rivers creaks and ffishings or any of them and to stand and draw their netts and carry the ir ffishe on land and dry and amend their netts and hoope pickle and trimme upp their Caske, and doe any other thinge else concerninge th e said ffishings or ffishermen for their comforts or occasions up[p]on any p[ar]te of the shores or lands adioyninge or neere to the said Rivers Creaks [and] ffish ings or any of them without lett or interrupc[i]on. The same premisses Except before excepted to be holden of his Ma[ies]tie his heires and Successors of such Mannor as his Ma[ies]tie shall erect create or make of or within [th]e said Proporc[i]on of land called the Haberdashers proporc[i]on by such rents and services as are hereafter menc[i]oned That is to say yeildinge [and] payinge therefore to his Ma[ies]tie his heires [and] Successors the yearly rent of ffifty three shillings [and] fower pence of lawfull money of England att the feasts of All Saints [and] Phillip and Jacob by equall porc[i]ons into the receipt of his Ma[ies]t[ie]s Exchecq[uer] in England or unto the hands of the Receiver of his Majesty his heirs and successors for the time being for the revennue of Londonderry als[o] Derry [and] Colerane [and] either of them [and] yeilding [and] doing ffealty to his Majesty his heires [and] Successors or to the Lord or Lords of the said manor for the tyme beinge And doinge suite att Court in and to the court baron to be holden for the said Mannor from three weekes to three weeks if the same shall be soe often held, And doinge suit att or to his Majesty’s Mill or Mills within the said Mannor That is to say that the said Tristram Berisford his heires [and] assignes shall grind upon the premisses and not elsewhere all the corne and grayne that shall be used or spent up[p]on the premisses or any p[ar]te thereof and yielding and giving the sixeteenth parte thereof for the moulture thereof and for default of payinge doeinge or p[er]forminge the foresaid rent and other services or any part of them or any of them that then his Ma[ies]tie his heirs successors and assignes may distreine for the same, And the said Tristram Berisford his heires or assignes shall att his or their prop[er] costs and charges within five yeares now next com[m]inge erect and build [and] fully finish up[p]on the premisses one sufficient and substanciall howse of timber stone or bricke after the ffashion and manner of an english house two stories highe att the least [and] conteyninge sixe roomes att the least and that the said Tristram Berisford his heires or assignes or some sufficient Ten[an]t with his ffamily shall from tyme to tyme for the term of one and twenty yeares now next com[m]inge be resident and inhabitant in and upon the said premisses And shall within five yeares no w next coming

whatsoever other name or names the same or any of them be called or known, and all cottages, edifices, and buildings thereupon, all which premises are lying and being within the late Proportion of land called the Haberdashers’ Proportion or late Manor of Freemore in the late county of Londonderry, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or therewith enjoyed, except and always reserved unto his Majesty, his heirs and successors all mines and also all timber and all timber trees growing or being, or which hereafter shall grow or be, in or upon the premises or any part thereof, with liberty to fell, cut down, and carry away the same, and liberty to hawk, hunt, fish, and fowl upon the premises at reasonable and convenient times, and also reserving and excepting unto his Majesty, his heirs and successors all the fishing and taking of salmon, eels, and other fish in the rivers and fishings of Bann, Lough Foyle, Lough Neagh, also Lough Sidney, and in all the rivers, creeks, and streams within the province of Ulster and every of them, and all the ground and soil of the said rivers, creeks, and streams, with free liberty, ingress, egress, and regress for the tenants, occupiers, and fishers of the said rivers and fishings and their servants and assigns to build and make houses, sheds, and other convenient places for lodging of fishermen and others to be employed in and about the said rivers, creeks, and fishings, or any of them, and to stand and draw their nets, and carry their fish on land, and dry and amend their nets, and hoop, pickle, and trim up their cask, and do any other thing else concerning the said fishings or fishermen for their comforts or occasions upon any part of the shores or lands adjoining or near to the said rivers, creeks, and fishings, or any of them, without let or interruption. The same premises, except before excepted, to be holden of his Majesty, his heirs and successors of such manor as his Majesty shall erect, create, or make of or within the said Proportion of land called the Haberdashers’ Proportion, by such rents and services as are hereafter mentioned. That is to say, yielding and paying therefore to his Majesty, his heirs and successors the yearly rent of fifty-three shillings and four pence of lawful money of England at the feasts of All Saints and Phillip and Jacob by equal portions, into the receipt of his Majesty’s Exchequer in England, or unto the hands of the Receiver of his Majesty, his heirs and successors for the time being for the revenue of Londonderry, also Derry, and Coleraine and either of them, and yielding and doing fealty to his Majesty, his heirs and successors or to the lord or lords of the said manor for the time being. And doing suit at court in and to the court baron to be holden for the said manor from three weeks to three weeks if the same shall be so often held. And doing suit at or to his Majesty’s mill or mills within the said manor. That is to say, that the said Tristram Beresford his heirs and assigns shall grind upon the premises and not elsewhere all the corn and grain that shall be used or spent upon the premises or any part thereof, and yielding and giving the sixteenth part thereof for the multure thereof, and for default of paying, doing, or performing the foresaid rent and other services or any part of them or any of them that then his Majesty, his heirs, successors, and assigns may distrein for the same. And the said Tristram Beresford, his heirs or assigns shall, at his or their proper costs and charges within five years now next coming, erect and build and fully finish upon the premises one sufficient and substantial house of timber, stone, or brick after the fashion and manner of an English house two stories high at the least and containing six rooms at the least, and that the said Tristram Beresford, his heirs or assigns, or some sufficient tenant with his family shall, from time to time for the term of one and twenty years now next coming, be resident and inhabitant in and upon the said premises. And shall, within five years now next coming
