Owen or his assignes from time to time during the said term by the Woodward or other Officer of his Ma jesty his heirs and successors rough tymber for buildinge and repairinge the aforesaid house and houseboote in convenient places within the late County of Londonderry to be spent up[p]on the p[re]misses and not elsewhere, And that the said Owen or his assignes shall and may from tyme to tyme duri ng the said Terme have and take fireboote and hedgeboote to be tak en in and up[p]on the dead trees lyinge up[p]on the ground not fitt for buildinge and roots and stumpes of trees which are felled or cutt thornbushes shreddings [and] loppes of trees and underwoods growing up[p]on the p[re]misses and not otherwise, And with this further agreement and up[p]on condic[i]on that if the said Owen doe not within [...] years now next com[m]inge repaire to Churche and in all thinges conform himselfe to the orders and discipline of the Church of England that then if the Attorney Generall in England of his Majesty his heirs and Successors for the tyme beinge shall under his hand in writing expresse or declare that it is the will and pleasure of his M ajesty his heirs and Successors that the said Owen or his assignes shall noe longer hold or enjoy the aforesaid premisses that then and from thenceforth this p[re]sent Contract and agreem[en]t and the grannt [and] lease thereup[p]on to be made shall cease determine and be voyd, any thinge in these p[re]sents or in the said grannt or lease to be conteined to the contrary thereof in any wise not withstandinge, And that his Ma[ies]ty will be gratiously pleased to ratify and confirme this agreem[en]t by his letters Patents under the great seale of England, and that the said Owen shall coven[an]t [and] grannt thereby for him his heyres executors Administrators [and] assignes to p[er]forme what is hereby agreed on his part, In Wittnes whereof the said Com[m]ission[er]s [and] the said Owen have sett to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said seaventh day of September the said Com[m] issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]iss ion and Anthony Lawson of Drumcose in the late County of Londonderry [...] and John Lawson of Drumcose aforesaid yeoman doe conclude and agree that the said Anthony and John and their assi gns shall have and hold All those two Townelands com[m]only call ed or known by the severall name or names of Balliohillan and Ballym[...] with the appurten[an]c[e]s in the said late County or by whatsoever other name or names the same or either of them be called or knowne conteyninge by estimac[i]on one hundred fowerscore and tenn acres Irishe measure, and allso all waies and passages to the aforesaid p[re]misses or any part thereof belonginge or formerly enioyed therewith, with and under such and the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares ffrom the ffeast of Phillipp and Jacob last past for and under the yearly rent of ffowerteen pounds sterling paiable in such manner and at such d ays and times and with

Owen or his assigns, from time to time during the said term, by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty, his heirs and successors rough timber for building and repairing the aforesaid house and houseboot in convenient places within the late county of Londonderry, to be spent upon the premises and not elsewhere. And that the said Owen or his assigns shall and may, from time to time during the said term, have and take fireboot and hedgeboot to be taken in and upon the dead trees lying upon the ground not fit for building, and roots and stumps of trees which are felled or cut, thornbushes, shreddings and lops of trees and underwood growing upon the premises, and not otherwise. And with this further agreement and upon condition that if the said Owen do not within […] years now next coming repair to church and in all things conform himself to the orders and discipline of the Church of England, that then if the Attorney General in England of his Majesty, his heirs and successors for the time being shall, under his hand in writing, express or declare that it is the will and pleasure of his Majesty, his heirs and successors that the said Owen or his assigns shall no longer hold or enjoy the aforesaid premises, that then and from thenceforth this present contract and agreement, and the grant and lease thereupon to be made, shall cease, determine, and be void any thing in these presents or in the said grant or lease to be contained to the contrary thereof in anywise not withstanding. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to ratify and confirm this agreement by his letters patent under the Great Seal of England, and that the said Owen shall covenant and grant thereby for him, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on his part. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Owen have set to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The said seventh day of September, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Anthony Lawson of Drumachose in the late county of Londonderry, […] and John Lawson of Drumachose aforesaid, yeoman, do conclude and agree that the said Anthony and John and their assigns shall have and hold all those two townlands commonly called or known by the several name or names of Ballymacallian and Ballym[…], with the appurtenances in the said late county or by whatsoever other name or names the same or either of them be called or known, containing by estimation one hundred four-score and ten acres Irish measure, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with and under such and the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob last past, for and under the yearly rent of fourteen pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with,
