timber trees and the same or others to be sett and planted in the roomes and steeds of such of them as shall happen to dye shall mainteine preserve and keepe from hurt and spoile during [th]e said terme and shall att his and their propp[er] costs and chardges during the said terme have and keepe in redines upon the p[re]misses for the service of his ma[ies]tie his heires and successors one muskett furnished in such manner as the same shall and may be allowed by the mustermaster of the said Countie in w[hi]ch the p[re]misses are for the time being And that uppon reasonable request there shal[l] be allowed and sett out unto George James William and John or their assignes from time to time during the said terme by the woodward or other officer of his Majesty his heires and successors rough timber for building and repairing the foresaid house and houseboote in convenient places within the late Countie of Londonderry to be spent upon the p[re]misses and not elsewhere And the said George James William and John and their assignes shall and may from time to time during the said terme have and take fireboote and hedgeboote to be taken in and upon the roots stumps and truncks of dead trees lyeing on the ground or fallen and not fitt for building thornes bushes shreadings and lopps of trees and underwoods upon the the p[re]misses if the same be there to be had the same to be spent upon the p[re]misses and not otherwise And that his ma[ies]tie will be gratiously pleased to ratifie and confirme this agreement by his l[ett]res patents under the great Seale of England And the said George James William and John shall coven[a]nt and grant thereby for them their heires Executors administrators and assignes to performe what is hereby agreed on their parts In witnes whereof the said Commissioners and the said George James William and John have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The aforesaid three and twentiethe day of September the foresaid Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and James Liderdaile of Desert Lynn in the late countie of Londonderry Esquire doe conclude and agree that the said James and his assignes shall have and hold all those two Townelands commonly called or knowne by the severall name or names of Moy mc Gillwory and Gortagell al[l]s[o] Gortagelly with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s in Desert Lynn aforesaid or by whatsoever other name or names the same or either of them be called or knowne conteining by estimac[i]on Three hundred [and] fowerscore acres Irishe measure also all waies and passages unto the premisses or anie part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like Excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of ffive and thirty pounds sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and times and with under and upon such further and the like Condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said Commissioners and James Young beforenamed are conteined and with this further agreement that the said James Liderdaill and his assignes shall within two yeares now next comeing fence inclose and incoppice with dikes and double quicksett tenn acres of Irishe measure of the woods and woodgrounds p[ar]cell of the foresaid p[re]misses and the same with fences and inclosures shall well [and] sufficiently preserve and keepe as Coppicewoods from hurt and spoile during the said terme and upon every fell that shal[l] be made thereof shall new incopice the same after the manner and usage in England and shall allsoe preserve and keepe upon everie acre of the foresaid woodground everie felling and cutting of the said woods soe to be incoppiced thirtie young storiers and thirty standalls of oake and ashe fitt to make timber trees. The foresaid three and twentieth day of September the foresaid Commission[er]s for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and George Birkett of Desert Lynn in the said late countie Mason for and on the behalfe of himselfe and of James Hartson of Desert Lynn aforesaid yeoman doe conclude and agree that the said George and James and their assignes shall have [and] hold all that townland commonly called or knowne by the name of Tawna Doo[...] with the appurtenanc[es] in Desertlyn aforesaid or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known containing

And that upon reasonable request there shall be allowed and set out unto George, James, William, and John, or their assigns, from time to time during the said term by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty, his heirs and successors, rough timber for building and repairing the foresaid house and houseboot in convenient places within the late county of Londonderry, to be spent upon the premises and not elsewhere. And the said George, James, William, and John and their assigns shall and may from time to time during the said term have and take fireboot and hedgeboot, to be taken in and upon the roots, stumps, and trunks of dead trees lying on the ground or fallen and not fit for building, thornbushes, shreddings and lops of trees, and underwood, upon the the premises if the same be there to be had, the same to be spent upon the premises and not otherwise. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to ratify and confirm this agreement by his letters patent under the Great Seal of England. And the said George, James, William, and John shall covenant and grant thereby for them, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on their parts. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said George, James, William, and John have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The aforesaid three and twentieth day of September, the foresaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and James Lidderdale of Desertlyn in the late county of Londonderry, esquire, do conclude and agree that the said James and his assigns shall have and hold all those two townlands commonly called or known by the several name or names of Moymucklemurry and Gortagell, also Gortagelly [Gortagilly], with the appurtenances in Desertlyn aforesaid or by whatsoever other name or names the same or either of them be called or known, containing by estimation three hundred and four-score acres Irish measure, also all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions, and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of five and thirty pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and James Young beforenamed are contained, and with this further agreement that the said James Lidderdale and his assigns shall, within two years now next coming, fence, enclose, and encoppice with dikes and double quicksett ten acres of Irish measure of the woods and woodgrounds parcel of the foresaid premises, and the same with fences and enclosures shall well and sufficiently preserve and keep as coppicewoods from hurt and spoil during the said term, and upon every fell that shall be made thereof shall new encoppice the same after the manner and usage in England, and shall also preserve and keep upon every acre of the foresaid woodground every felling and cutting of the said woods, so to be encoppiced, thirty young storiers and thirty standalls of oak and ash fit to make timber trees. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said James Lidderdale have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:
