The said seaven and twentieth day of August the aforesaid commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Edward Russell one of the Burgesse s of the late Citty of Londonderry doe conclude and agree that the said Edward Russell and his assignes shall have and hold one messuage or tenem[en]t heretofore three houses p[ar]t whereof is now used as a Goale and the backside thereunto belonging in Butchers row als[o] Butchers streete als[o] Shamblestreete in the late Citty of Londonderry and all those lands within the lib[er]ties of the said late Citty conteining by estimac[i]on fower and twenty acres Irishe measure to the said messuage heretofore belonging therewith or formerly enioyed and allsoe one orchard and one p[ar]cell of meadow with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s in Butchersgate als[o] Newgate and adioining to the highe way called the Turne Pike and one messuage and other buildings thereuppon erected att the propp[er] costs and chardges of the said Edward Russell and allsoe one garden plott with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s without the said gate conteining by estimac[i]on sixtie and fower perches Irishe measure and all cabbins and buildings thereuppon all w[hi]ch p[re]misses now are in the tenure or occupac[i]on of the said Edward or his assignes with all ways and passages unto the p[re]misses or anie part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the feast of the Annunciac[i]on of the blessed virgin Mary now last past for and under the yearly rent of [...] pounds sterling paiable in such manner and att such dayes and tymes and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said Commission[er]s and Stephen Godfrey beforenamed are conteined In witnes whereof the said Com missioners and the said Edward Russell have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The Eight and twentieth day of the said monethe of August the aforesaid Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said commission and John Hawkes of the late Citty of Londonderry th[e] elder Smith doe conclude and agree that the said John Hawkes and his assignes shall have and hold one messuage or tenement built by the said John att his owne propp[er] costs and chardges and the backside thereunto adioining with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s in Queenes streete in the said late Citty and now in the occupac[i]on of the said John or his assignes for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Th[e] an[n]unciac[i]on of the blessed virgin Mary now last past for and under the yearly rent of Twenty shillings sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreem[en]ts as in th[e] aforesaid agreement made by the said Commission[er]s and Edward Rowley beforenamed are conteined In witnes whereof the said Commission[er]s and the said John Hawkes have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

Edward Russell 117.

The said seven and twentieth day of August, the aforesaid commissioners for and on His Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Edward Russell, one of the burgesses of the late city of Londonderry, do conclude and agree that the said Edward Russell and his assigns shall have and hold one messuage or tenement heretofore three houses, part whereof is now used as a gaol, and the backside thereunto belonging in Butchers Row, also Butchers Street, also Shamble Street in the late city of Londonderry, and all those lands within the Liberties of the said late city containing by estimation four and twenty acres Irish measure, to the said messuage heretofore belonging therewith or formerly enjoyed, and also one orchard and one parcel of meadow with the appurtenances in Butchers Gate, also New Gate, and adjoining to the highway called the Turnpike, and one messuage and other buildings thereupon erected at the proper costs and charges of the said Edward Russell, and also one garden plot with the appurtenances without the said gate, containing by estimation sixty and four perches Irish measure, and all cabins and buildings thereupon, all which premises now are in the tenure or occupation of the said Edward or his assigns, with all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary now last past, for and under the yearly rent of  […] pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Stephen Godfrey beforenamed are contained. John Hawkes

The eight and twentieth day of the said month of August, the aforesaid commissioners for and on His Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and John Hawkes of the late city of Londonderry, the elder, smith, do conclude and agree that the said John Hawkes and his assigns shall have and hold one messuage or tenement built by the said John at his own proper costs and charges, and the backside thereunto adjoining, with the appurtenances, in Queens Street in the said late city and now in the occupation of the said John or his assigns, for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary now last past, for and under the yearly rent of twenty shillings sterling payable in such manner and at such days and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Edward Rowley beforenamed are contained.
