William Patteshall 162.

The said one and thirtieth day of August the foresaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by vertue of the said Commission and Robert Chambers gent[leman] for and on the behalfe of William Patteshall one of the Aldermen of the late Cittie of Londonderry doe Conclude and agree that the said William and his assignes shall have and hold one parcell of meadowe with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s and a garden and [...] Cabbins thereuppon built All w[hi]ch p[re]misses conteine by estimac[i]on three acres Irishe measure and are lyeing and being neere unto Columkells well and now are or late were in the tenure or occupac[i]on of t he said William or his assignes with all waies and passages unto the p[re]misses or anie part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and Twentie yeares from the ffeast of Th[e] an[n]unciac[i]on of the blessed virgin Mary now last past for and under the yearly rent of Twenty shillings sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and times and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts [and] agreem[en]ts as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said Commissioners and Edward Rowley beforenamed are conteined In witnes whereof the said Commissioners and the said Robert Chambers have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said one and thirtieth day of August 1639 the foresaid Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]ties behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Robert Chambers gent[leman] for and on the behalfe of S[i]r John Vaugham knight one of his ma[ies]ties honourable privy Counsell for his highnes kingdome of Ireland doe conclude and agree that the said S[i]r John and his assignes shall have and hold one p[ar]cell of land lyeing without the Butchers gate of the late Citty of Londonderry being parcell of the lands called by the name of Packers bogg and adioining to the highe way leading from [th]e said late Citty to Cullmore Castle and conteining by estimac[i]on one quarter of an acre more or less Irishe measure and now or late in the tenure or occupac[i]on of William Latham Esquire or his assignes and all cabbins and buildings thereuppon with all waies and passages unto the p[re]misses or anie part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for [th]e terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Th[e] an[n]unciac[i]on of the blessed Virgin Mary now last past for and under the yearly rent of three pounds sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and times and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said Com[missioner]s and Edward Rowley beforenamed are conteined In witnes whereof the said Commission[er]s and the said Robert Chambers have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

Nathaniel Houslock 164.

The said one and thirtieth day of August the foresaid Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]ties behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Robert Chambers gent[leman] for and on the behalfe of Nathaniell Houselocke of the late Citty of Londonderry gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said Nathaniell and his assignes shall have and hold all those three peeces or p[ar]cells of meadowe with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s conteining by estimac[i]on fower acres and an halfe Irishe measure and adioining to lands in the occupac[i]on of William Patteshall gent[leman] or his assignes and lyeing neere unto Collumkell wells and now or late in the tenure or occupac[i]on of the said Nathaniell or his assignes with all waies and passages unto the p[re]misses or anie part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Th[e] an[n]unciac[i]on of the blessed virgin Mary now last past for and under the yearly rent of ffourty shillings sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and times and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by [th]e said Commissioners and Edward Rowley beforenamed are conteined save onely that the said Nathaniell is not by this agreement tyed to rep[ar]ac[i]ons or residencie there being noe house nor buildings upon the p[re]misses In witnes whereof the said Commissioners and the said Rob[er]t Chambers have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said one and thirtieth day of August, the foresaid commissioners for and on His Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Robert Chambers, gentleman, for and on the behalf of William Patteshall, one of the Aldermen of the late city of Londonderry, do conclude and agree that the said William and his assigns shall have and hold one parcel of meadow, with the appurtenances, and a garden and  […] cabins thereupon built. All which premises contain by estimation three acres Irish measure and are lying and being near unto St Columbkille’s well and now are or late were in the tenure or occupation of the said William or his assigns, with all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary now last past, for and under the yearly rent of twenty shillings sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Edward Rowley beforenamed are contained. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Robert Chambers have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

Sir John Vaughan knight 163.

The said one and thirtieth day of August, 1639, the foresaid commissioners for and on His Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Robert Chambers, gentleman, for and on the behalf of Sir John Vaughan, knight, one of His Majesty’s honourable Privy Council for His Highness’ Kingdom of Ireland, do conclude and agree that the said Sir John and his assigns shall have and hold one parcel of land lying without the Butchers Gate of the late city of Londonderry, being parcel of the lands called by the name of Packers Bog and adjoining to the highway leading from the said late city to Culmore Castle, and containing by estimation one quarter of an acre more or less Irish measure and now or late in the tenure or occupation of William Latham, esquire, or his assigns, and all cabins and buildings thereupon, with all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary now last past, for and under the yearly rent of three pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Edward Rowley beforenamed are contained. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Robert Chambers have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

Nathaniel Houselock 164.

The said one and thirtieth day of August, the foresaid commissioners for and on His Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Robert Chambers, gentleman, for and on the behalf of Nathaniel Houselock of the late city of Londonderry, gentleman, do conclude and agree that the said Nathaniel and his assigns shall have and hold all those three pieces or parcels of meadow, with the appurtenances, containing by estimation four acres and an half Irish measure and adjoining to lands in the occupation of William Patteshall, gentleman, or his assigns, and lying near unto St Columbkille’s well and now or late in the tenure or occupation of the said Nathaniel or his assigns, with all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary now last past, for and under the yearly rent of forty shillings sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Edward Rowley beforenamed are contained, save only that the said Nathaniel is not by this agreement tied to reparations or residency, there being no house nor buildings upon the premises. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Robert Chambers have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:
