The aforesaid seven and twentieth day of September the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]ission and Robert Smith of Killcronoghan in [th]e late County of Londonderry [...] do coclude and agree that the said Robert Smith and his assigns shall have and hold all that Towneland com[m]only called or known by the name of Gortneskiee w[i]th the appurt enances in Ballineskreene in the said late County or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or knowne conteining by estimac[i]on [...] hundred and threescore acres Irish measure with all waies and passages unto the p[re]misses or any p art thereof belonginge or formerly enioyed therewith, with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the feast of Phillip [and] Jacob now last past for and under th e yearly rent of T welve pounds sterlinge paiable in such manner and att such days and tymes and with under and up[p]on such further and the like condic[i]on coven[an]ts and agreem[en]ts as in the aforesaid agreem ent made by the said Com[m]ission[er]s and Robert ffoster William ffoster and Margarett ffoster beforenamed are conteined With this further agreem[en]t that the said Robert Smith and his assignes shall within two yeares now next com[m]inge ffence Inclose and incoppice with dikes and double quicksett five acres of Irishe measure of the woods and Woodgrounds p[ar]cell of the aforesaid p[re]misses and the same ffences [and] Inclosures shall well and sufficiently p[re]serve and keepe duringe the said Terme [...] five acres shall duringe the said Terme well and sufficiently preserve and keep as Coppice Woods from hurt and spoyle and up[p]on every fell that shall be made thereof shall new Incoppice the same with sufficient ffences and Inclosures after the manner and usage in England. And shall also preserve and keep upon every acre of the aforesaid Woodground upon every felling and cutting of the said Woods soe to be Inco ppiced thirty young storiers and thirty standalls of oake and ash fit to make timber trees In Wittnes whereof the said commissioners and the said Robert Smith have putt to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The aforesaid seven and twentieth day of September the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by virtue of the said commision and William Thursby of Ballneskreen in the late county of Londonderry gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said William Thursby and his assignes shall have and hold all that townland commonly called or knowne by the name of […] with the appurtenances, in Ballyneskreen aforesaid or by whatsoever other name or names the s ame be called or known containing by estimac[i]on one hundred [...] acres Irish

The aforesaid seven and twentieth day of September, the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Robert Smith of Kilcronaghan in the late county of Londonderry, […], do coclude and agree that the said Robert Smith and his assigns shall have and hold all that townland commonly called or known by the name of Gortnaskey, with the appurtenances in Ballynascreen in the said late county or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known, containing by estimation […] hundred and three-score acres Irish measure, with all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of twelve pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Robert Foster, William Foster, and Margaret Foster beforenamed are contained. With this further agreement that the said Robert Smith and his assigns shall, within two years now next coming, fence, enclose, and encoppice with dikes and double quicksett five acres of Irish measure of the woods and woodgrounds parcel of the aforesaid premises, and the same fences and enclosures shall well and sufficiently preserve and keep during the said term […] five acres shall during the said term well and sufficiently preserve and keep as coppicewoods from hurt and spoil, and upon every fell that shall be made thereof shall new encoppice the same with sufficient fences and enclosures after the manner and usage in England. And shall also preserve and keep upon every acre of the aforesaid woodground, upon every felling and cutting of the said woods so to be encoppiced, thirty young storiers and thirty standalls of oak and ash fit to make timber trees.
