beinge within the Proportion of land called the Iro[n]mongers’ Proportion or late Manor of Lizard in the late county of Londonderry and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or therewith enjoyed except and allwaies reserved unto his Ma[ies]tie his heires and successors all Mynes, and allso all tymber [and] tymber trees growinge or being or which hereafter shall growe or bee in or up[p]on the premisses or any part thereof with liberty to fell, cutt downe and carry away the same and lib[er]tie to hawke hunt, ffishe, and ffowle up[p]on the p[re]misses at reasonable and convenient tymes And allso reservinge and ex cepting unto his Ma[ies]tie his heires and Successors, all the ffishinge and takeinge of Salmons, Eeles, and other ffishe in the Rivers and ffishing s of Bann and Loughfoyle, Lougheagh als[o] Lough Sydney, and in all the Rivers Creaks and streames, within the Province of Ulster, and all the grounde and soyle of the said Rivers, Creakes, and Streames w ith free lib[er]ty ingresse egresse and Regresse for the Ten[a]nts Occupyers and ffishers of the said Rivers, Creaks and ffishings and their servants and assignes to build and make howses, shedds and other convenient places for lodginge, of ffishermen and others to be imployed in and about the said Rivers Creaks and ffishings or any of them and to stand and draw their netts and carry their ffishe on land and dry and amend their netts and hoope, pickle, and trimme upp their Caske and doe any other thinge else concerninge the said ffishings or ffishermen for their comforts or occasions up[p]on any part of the shores or lands adioyninge, or neere to the said Rivers creeks and fishings or any of them, without lett or interrupc[i]on the same premises except before excepted, to be holden of his Majesty his heirs and Successors as of such Mannor as his Majesty shall erect create or make of or within the said Proporc[i]on of land called the Ironmongers’ Proportion and by such rents and services as are hereafter mentioned that is to say yeildinge and payinge therefore to his Majesty his heirs and Successors the yearly rent of fforty shillings of lawful money of England att the ffeasts of All S[ain]ts and Phillip and Jacob by equal porc[i]ons into the Receipt of his Majesty’s Exchequer in England or unto the hands of the Receivor of his Majesty his heirs and Successors for the tyme beinge for the revenue of Londonderry als[o] Derry and Colerane or either of them and yielding and doinge ffealty to his Ma[ies]tie his heires and successors or to the Lord or Lords of the said Mannor soe to be created for the tyme beinge, And doeinge suit att Court in and to the Court Baron to be holden for the said Mannor from three weeks to three weeks if the same shall be soe often held And doing suit att and to his Ma[ies]t[ie]s Mill or Mills within the said manor or Proporc[i]on, That is to say that he the said John Ley his heires and assignes shall grind att the said Mill or Mills and not elsewhere all the Corne and graine that shall be used or spent in or upon the premisses or any part thereof and yeildinge [and] giving the sixteenth part thereof for the moulture thereof and for

being within the Proportion of land called the Ironmongers’ Proportion or late Manor of Lizard in the late county of Londonderry, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or therewith enjoyed, except and always reserved unto his Majesty, his heirs and successors all mines, and also all timber and timber trees growing or being, or which hereafter shall grow or be, in or upon the premises or any part thereof, with liberty to fell, cut down, and carry away the same, and liberty to hawk, hunt, fish, and fowl upon the premises at reasonable and convenient times. And also reserving and excepting unto his Majesty, his heirs and successors all the fishing and taking of salmon, eels, and other fish in the rivers and fishings of Bann and Lough Foyle, Lough Neagh, also Lough Sidney, and in all the rivers, creeks, and streams within the province of Ulster, and all the ground and soil of the said rivers, creeks, and streams, with free liberty ingress, egress, and regress for the tenants, occupiers, and fishers of the said rivers, creeks, and fishings, and their servants and assigns, to build and make houses, sheds, and other convenient places for lodging of fishermen and others to be employed in and about the said rivers, creeks, and fishings, or any of them, and to stand and draw their nets and carry their fish on land and dry and amend their nets and hoop, pickle, and trim up their cask, and do any other thing else concerning the said fishings or fishermen for their comforts or occasions upon any part of the shores or lands adjoining or near to the said rivers, creeks, and fishings, or any of them, without let or interruption, the same premises except before excepted, to be holden of his Majesty, his heirs and successors as of such manor as his Majesty shall erect, create, or make of or within the said Proportion of land called the Ironmongers’ Proportion, and by such rents and services as are hereafter mentioned, that is to say yielding and paying therefore to his Majesty, his heirs and successors the yearly rent of forty shillings of lawful money of England at the feasts of All Saints and Phillip and Jacob by equal portions, into the receipt of his Majesty’s Exchequer in England, or unto the hands of the Receiver of his Majesty, his heirs and successors for the time being for the revenue of Londonderry, also Derry, and Coleraine or either of them, and yielding and doing fealty to his Majesty, his heirs and successors or to the lord or lords of the said manor so to be created for the time being. And doing suit at court in and to the court baron to be holden for the said manor from three weeks to three weeks if the same shall be so often held. And doing suit at and to his Majesty’s mill or mills within the said manor or Proportion. That is to say that he, the said John Ley, his heirs and assigns shall grind at the said mill or mills and not elsewhere all the corn and grain that shall be used or spent in or upon the premises or any part thereof, and yielding and giving the sixteenth part thereof for the multure thereof, and for
