and the said Paul Canning shall upon reasonable request have assigned and set out unto him by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty so much good and sufficient rough timber in and upon the premisses if the same be there to be had as shall be fit and necessary to be used in buildinge of the said howses, And that his Majesty will be gratiously pleased, by Letters Patents under the Great Seal of England to ratify and confirme this agreeement, and that the said Paul Canninge shall covenant and grannt thereby for him his heires, Executors administrators and assignes to p[er]forme what is hereby agreed on his part In Wittnes whereof the said commissioners and the said Paul Canninge have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The seaventh day of the said Moneth of August the aforesaid Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]ission and ffrancis Carey gent[leman] eldest sonne and heire apparant of George Carey Esq[uire] doe conclude and agree that the said ffrancis Carey , his heires and assignes sh all have and hold forever, All that Towneland com[m]only called or know n by the name of Boveede with the appurtenanc[e]s or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or knowne and all Cabyns edifices and buildings thereup[p]on all which premisses are lyinge and being within the proporc[i]on of land called the Mercers Proporc[i]on or late Mannor of Mercers in the late County of Londonderry and allso all waies and passages to the aforesaid premisses or any p[ar]te thereof belonging or therewith enioyed The same premisses to beholden of his Ma[ies]ty his heires and Successors as of such Mannor as his Ma[ies]ty shall er ect create, or make of or within the aforesaid proporc[i]on of land called the Mercers proporc[i]on, with and under such and the like exceptions and for and under the yearly rent of Twenty sixe shil lings and [...] pence sterlinge paiable in such manner and att such dayes and times and suit att Court, and Mill in the said Proporc[i]on and with upon and under the like further reservac[i]ons lib[er]ties, powers tenures services covenants and agreements as in the foresaid Agr eement made by the said Com[m]issioners and Tristram Berrisford the young er beforenamed are conteined In Wittnes whereof the s aid commissioners and the said ffranncis Carey have putt to their hand s the day and year abovewritten:

Ferdora O’Cahan 8.
The said seaventh day of August the aforesaid Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]ission and fferdora O’Cahan of [...] in the late County of Londonderry gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said fferdora O Cahan his heires and assignes shall have and hold forever All those three Townelands com[m]only called or know n by the name or names of Ballyerin Moyboy and Carronedolge in the late county of Londonderry and heretofore p[ar]cell of the lands and possessions of Manus McQui valley O Cahan gent[leman] deceased or by whatsoevoer other name or names the same or any o f them be called or known and all
and the said Paul Canning shall, upon reasonable request, have assigned and set out unto him by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty so much good and sufficient rough timber in and upon the premises if the same be there to be had as shall be fit and necessary to be used in building of the said houses. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased by letters patent under the Great Seal of England to ratify and confirm this agreeement, and that the said Paul Canning shall covenant and grant thereby for him, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on his part. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Paul Canning have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The seventh day of the said month of August, the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Francis Carey, gentleman, eldest son and heir apparant of George Carey, esquire, do conclude and agree that the said Francis Carey, his heirs and assigns shall have and hold forever all that townland commonly called or known by the name of Bovedy, with the appurtenances, or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known, and all cabins, edifices, and buildings thereupon, all which premises are lying and being within the Proportion of land called the Mercers’ Proportion or late Manor of Mercers in the late county of Londonderry, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or therewith enjoyed. The same premises to beholden of his Majesty, his heirs and successors as of such manor as his Majesty shall erect, create, or make of or within the aforesaid Proportion of land called the Mercers’ Proportion, with and under such and the like exceptions and for and under the yearly rent of twenty-six shillings and […] pence sterling payable in such manner and at such dayes and times and suit at court and mill in the said Proportion, and with, upon, and under the like further reservations, liberties, powers, tenures, services, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Tristram Berrisford, the younger, beforenamed are contained. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Francis Carey have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:
