Manus mc Qui Valey O’Cahan 23.

The said tenthe day of September the said Commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by vertue of the said Commission and Manus mc Qui Vally O Cahan of [...] in the late county of Londonderry gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said Manus and his assigns shall have and hold all that Towneland commonly called or knowne by the name of [...] wit h the appurten ances in Ballinescreene in the late countie of Londonderry or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or knowne and all cabbins edifices and buildings th ereupon and also all ways and passages unto the p[re]misses or anie part thereof belonging or forme rly enjoyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of Ten pound s sterling payable in such manner and at such daies and tymes and with under and uppon such further and the like condition coven[a]nts and agreements as in the foresaid agreem[en]t made by the said commissioners and Owen oge o Hagan beforenamed are conteined In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Manus have putt to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The said Tenth day of September the said Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Richard mc Manus O Cahan of Comer als[o] Cumber in the late county of Londonderry gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said Richard and his assignes shall have and hold all that halfe Towneland com[m]only called or knowne by the name of Carnon or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or knowne and all cabbins edifices and buildings thereupon and allsoe all waies and passages to the aforesaid p[re]misses or anie part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with and under such and the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of [...] pounds sterling paiable in such manner and att such dayes and tymes and w[i]th under and upon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the aforesaid agreem[en]t made by the said Commission[er]s and Owen Oge O Haggan beforenamed are conteined save onely that the said Richard is not by this agreem[en]t tied to build an house as the said Owen by his said agreement is to doe In witness whereof the said Commissioners and the said Richard have putt to their hands the day [and] yeare abovewritten:

The sixeteeneth day of September in the ffifteenth yeare of his Ma[ies]t[ie]s reign Annoq[ue] D[omi]ni 1639 the aforesaid S[i]r Raphe Whitfeld and Thomas ffotherley his Ma[ies]t[ie]s Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe byvirtue of the said Com[m]ission and Tristram Berrisford of Coleraine in the late County of Londonderry the younger Esq[uire] for and on the behalf of himselfe and of Michaell Berrisford of Dungevyn in the said late County Esquire doe conclude and agree that his Ma[ies]ty will be gratiously pleased to erect and creat a Court Leete which shall extend and have Jurisdiction over all the Residents and Inhabitants within the late Mannor of Pellipar and Proporc[i]on of land called the Skynners Proporc[i]on in the late County of Londonderry to be holden within the same

Manus McCoey Ballagh O’Cahan 23.

The said tenth day of September, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Manus McCoey Ballagh O’Cahan of […] in the late county of Londonderry, gentleman, do conclude and agree that the said Manus and his assigns shall have and hold all that townland commonly called or known by the name of […], with the appurtenances in Ballynascreen in the late county of Londonderry or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known, and all cabins, edifices, and buildings thereupon, and also all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of ten pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Owen Oge O’Haggan beforenamed are contained. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Manus have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The said tenth day of September, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Richard McManus O’Cahan of Comer, also Cumber in the late county of Londonderry, gentleman, do conclude and agree that the said Richard and his assigns shall have and hold all that half townland commonly called or known by the name of Carnon or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known, and all cabins, edifices, and buildings thereupon, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with and under such and the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of […] pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Owen Oge O’Haggan beforenamed are contained, save only that the said Richard is not by this agreement tied to build an house as the said Owen by his said agreement is to do. The sixteenth day of September in the fifteenth year of his Majesty’s reign, annoque domini 1639, the aforesaid Sir Ralph Whitfeld and Thomas Fotherley, his Majesty’s commissioners, for and on his Majesty’s behalf byvirtue of the said commission, and Tristram Beresford of Coleraine in the late county of Londonderry, the younger, esquire, for and on the behalf of himself and of Michael Beresford of Dungiven in the said late county, esquire, do conclude and agree that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to erect and creat a court leet which shall extend and have jurisdiction over all the residents and inhabitants within the late Manor of Pellipar and Proportion of land called the Skinners’ Proportion in the late county of Londonderry, to be holden within the same
