[...] said William Parrott and his assigns shall have and hold [...] p[ar]ce l of land [...] with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s in Colerane aforesaid now or late in the tenure or occ upation of John Robinson or his assignes and adioining to [th]e garden in the occupac[i]on of Mansfeld Tucker or his assignes and all waies and passages unto [th]e p[re]misses or any part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of Tenn shillings sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and tymes and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts [and] agreements as in th[e] aforesaid agreem[en]t made by the said Commissioners and Robert Scoles beforenamed are conteyned save onely that the said William is not by this agreem[en]t tyed or bound to any reparac[i]ons of anie cottage nor to be resident uppon the p[re]misses because there is noe cottage or habitac[i]on there In witnes whereof the said Commissioners and the said William Parrott have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The sixteenthe day of September in the ffifteenthe yeare of his ma[ies]t[ie]s Reinne Annoq[ue] D{omini} 1639. the aforesaid S[i]r Raphe Whitfeld and Thomas ffotherley his ma[ies]t[ie]s Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Symon Hillman Es quire of the towne of Colerane Paul Brasier Richard Berwicke William Barrabye and William Godfrey fower of the Aldermen of Colerane aforesaid doe conclude and agree that the said Symon Paul Richard William and William and their assignes shall within [...] years now next ensueing att their propp[e]r costs and chardges make and build and fully finishe one quay or wharfe uppon the east side of the River of Bann in Colerane aforesaid w[hi]ch said quay or wharfe shall conteine in length from the full Sea or highe water marke downe into the said River sixtie foot att least and twentie foote att least in breadthe and the said key or wharfe shal[l] be walled on the outsides next the water with good sufficient and strong timber and [...] And the said Symon Paul Richard William and William and their assignes shall have free lib[er]ty if they or the survivors or Survivor of them or their assignes thinke att their propp[er] costs and their dues to make erect build and fully finishe one Crane and Cranehouse on any such p[ar]t of the aforesaid wharfe as shal[l] be most convenient and the said Symon Paul Richard William and Wiliiam and their assignes shall laid forth and expend in and about the building and making of the said wharfe ffourty pounds sterling att the least and the said Symon Paul Richard William and William and their assignes shall have and hold the key or wharfe Craine and Crane house soe as aforesaid to be built uppon the aforesaid p[re]misses and all keiage and wharfage and Crainage after the building of such Cra ne and Crainhouse as aforesaid and all profitts commodities duties and paim[en]ts belonging to the said key wharfe and Crane for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of ffourty shillings sterling for the last twenty yeares of the said one and twenty yeares paiable unto his ma[ies]tie his heires and successors into the Receipt of his ma[ies]t[ie]s Excheq[ue]r in England or unto the hands of the Receiver of his ma[ies]tie his heires and Successors for the time being for the Reven[n]ue of Londonderry al[l]s[o] Derry and Colerane or either of them at the feasts of All Saints and Phillip and Jacob by equall porc[i]ons Uppon condic[i]on that the said terme shall cease and be void if the said rent or any part thereof shall be behind and unpaid by the space of ffifty daies next after any of the said ffeasts or days of paim[en]t aforesaid and the said Symon Paul Richard William and William [...]

The sixteenth day of September in the fifteenth year of his Majesty’s reign annoque domini 1639, the aforesaid Sir Ralph Whitfeld and Thomas Fotherley, his Majesty’s commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Simon Hillman, esquire of the town of Coleraine, Paul Brasier, Richard Berwick, William Barraby, and William Godfrey, four of the Aldermen of Coleraine aforesaid, do conclude and agree that the said Simon, Paul, Richard, William, and William and their assigns shall within […] years now next ensuing, at their proper costs and charges, make and build and fully finish one quay or wharf upon the east side of the River of Bann in Coleraine aforesaid, which said quay or wharf shall contain in length from the full sea or high water mark down into the said river sixty foot at least and twenty foot at least in breadth, and the said quay or wharf shall be walled on the outsides next the water with good, sufficient, and strong timber and […]. And the said Simon, Paul, Richard, William, and William and their assigns shall have free liberty if they or the survivors or survivor of them or their assigns think, at their proper costs and their dues, to make, erect, build, and fully finish one crane and cranehouse on any such part of the aforesaid wharf as shall be most convenient, and the said Simon, Paul, Richard, William, and Wiliiam and their assigns shall laid forth and expend in and about the building and making of the said wharf forty pounds sterling at the least, and the said Simon, Paul, Richard, William, and William and their assigns shall have and hold the quay or wharf, crane and cranehouse so as aforesaid to be built upon the aforesaid premises, and all quayage and wharfage and cranage after the building of such crane and cranehouse as aforesaid, and all profits, commodities, duties, and payments belonging to the said quay, wharf, and crane for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of forty shillings sterling for the last twenty years of the said one and twenty years payable unto his Majesty, his heirs and successors, into the receipt of his Majesty’s Exchequer in England, or unto the hands of the Receiver of his Majesty, his heirs and successors, for the time being for the revenue of Londonderry, also Derry, and Coleraine or either of them at the feasts of All Saints and Phillip and Jacob by equal portions.
