And that upon reasonable request there shall be allowed and sett out unto the said Robert Downs or his assignes from tyme to tyme duringe the said terme by the Woodward or other Officer of his Ma[ies]ty his heires and Successors rough tymber for buildinge of the said howse and allso houseboote in convenient places within the late County of Londonderry to be spent up[p]on the p[re]misses and not elsewhere. And that his Ma[ies]ty will be gratiously pleased to ratify and confirme this agreem[en]t by his Letters Patents under the great Seal of England And that the said Robert shall cove[nan]t and grannt thereby for him his heires executors administrators and assignes to performe what is hereby agreed on his part In Wittnes whereof the said Com[m]issioners and the said Robert have putt to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The said second day of September the said Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s beha lf by virtue of the said Com[m]ission and John Smith and Andrew Craige of Clandermott in the late County of Londonderry husbandmen doe conclude and agree that the said John and Andrew and their assignes shall have and hold All those two Townelands com[m]only called or knowne by the severall name or names of the two Monaghs als[o] Monagh More and Monage begge with the appurten[an]c[e]s in Clandermott aforesaid or by whatsoever other name or names the same or either of them be called or knowne, conteininge by estimac[i]on one hundred threescore and fower acres Irishe measure and all houses Cabbins edifices and buildings thereup[p]on and allso all waies and passages to the aforesaid premisses or any part thereof belonginge or formerly enioyed therewith, with and under such and the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares ffrom the ffeast of Phillipp and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of one and twenty pounds sterlinge paiable in such manner and att such dayes [and] times and with under and up[p]on such and the like condic[i]on coven[an]ts and agreements as in the said agreem[en]t made by the said Com[m]issioners and Robert Downes beforenamed are conteined save only that the said John and Andrew are not by this agreem[en]t to build a house as the said Robert by his said Agreem[en]t is to doe In Wittnes whereof the said Com[m]issioners and the said John Smith and Andrew Craige have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said second day of September the aforesaid Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]ission and Bryan Moc Owen O Cahan of Cumber in the late County of Londonderry gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said Bryan and his assignes shall have and hold all those two Townelands com[m]only called or knowne by the severall name or names of Listras [and] Oughtohie with the appurtenanc[e]s in Cumber aforesaid or by whatsoever other name or names the same or either of them be called or knowne conteininge by estimac[i]on five hundred acres of land and bogge Irishe measure and all Cabbins edifices [and] bu ildings
in such manner as the same shall and may be allowed by the Muster Master of the county in which the premises are for the time being. And that upon reasonable request there shall be allowed and set out unto the said Robert Downs or his assigns, from time to time during the said term, by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty, his heirs and successors, rough timber for building of the said house and also houseboot in convenient places within the late county of Londonderry to be spent upon the premises and not elsewhere. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to ratify and confirm this agreement by his letters patent under the great Seal of England. And that the said Robert shall covenant and grant thereby for him, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on his part. The said second day of September, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and John Smith and Andrew Craig of Clondermot in the late county of Londonderry, husbandmen, do conclude and agree that the said John and Andrew and their assigns shall have and hold all those two townlands commonly called or known by the several name or names of the two Managh, also Managh More and Managh Beg [Managh Beg], with the appurtenances in Clondermot aforesaid, or by whatsover other name or names the same or either of them be called or known, containing by estimation one hundred three-score and four acres Irish measure, and all houses, cabins, edifices, and buildings thereupon, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with and under such and the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of one and twenty pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the said agreement made by the said commissioners and Robert Downs beforenamed are contained, save only that the said John and Andrew are not by this agreement to build a house as the said Robert by his said agreement is to do. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said John Smith and Andrew Craig have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The said second day of September, the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Bryan McOwen O’Cahan of Cumber [Cumber Lower] in the late county of Londonderry, gentleman, do conclude and agree that the said Brian and his assigns shall have and hold all those two townlands commonly called or known by the several name or names of Listress and Oughtagh with the appurtenances in Cumber [Cumber Lower] aforesaid, or by whatsover other name or names the same or either of them be called or known, containing by estimation five hundred acres of land and bog, Irish measure, and all cabins, edifices, and buildings
