in the said castle or Capitall Messuage with his family shall from tyme to tyme during the said term of one and twenty years be resident and inhabitant in and uppon the said Castle Capitall Messuage the said Booke to the use of his ma[ies]tie his heires and s uccessors And keep and maintain the aforesaid Castell Capitall Messuage or Mannor h ouse and all other the aforesaid houses edifices and hedges ditch es and inclosures uppon or belonging to the aforesaid p[re]misses shall keep and maintain well and sufficiently fenced ditched inclosed and quicksetted during t he said term and shall during the said terme yearly sett and plant up on some p[ar]t of the aforesaid premises forty young trees of oake ashe or ellme fitt or likely to growe to be timber trees and the same or others to be sett and planted in the roomes and steeds of such of them as shall happen to die shall mainteine p[re]serve and keepe from hurt and spoile during the said terme and shall at his and their proper costs and chardges att all tymes hereafter during the said terme have and keep in readiness upon the foresaid Castle or Capitall messuage and p[re]misses for the service of his Majesty his heirs and
