The ffive and twentiethe day of the said monethe of September the fo resaid commission[er]s for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Thomas Windsor of Ballyscullen in the late county of Londonderry Esquire doe conclude and agree that the said T homas and his assignes shall have and hold all those two Townelands commonly called or knowne by th e several name or names of Ballidirmott and Balliknocker and the halfe Towneland of Tede[...] or by whatsoever other names the same or anie of them be called or knowne conteining by esti mation [...]e hundred and fowerscore acres Irishe measure with all waies and passages unto the p[re]misses or anie part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of Thirty pounds sterling paiable in such manner [and] att such daies and tymes and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the foresaid agreem[en]t made by the said Commissioners [and] James Young beforenamed are conteined save onely that the said Thomas is not bound or tyed by this agreement to build an house as the said James by his said agreement is to doe In witnes whereof the said Commissioners and the said Thomas Windsore have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The Thirtieth day of the said monethe of September the said Commissioners for [and] on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Robert Chambers gent[leman] for and on the behalfe of Raphe Whistler of Salters Towne in the late county of Londonderry Esq[uire] Doe conclude and agree that his ma[ies]tie wil[l] be gratiously pleased to erect and create one weekly markett to be houlden att the Towne called Salters Towne in the said late countie upon every Sattarday and allsoe three ffaires to be houlden every yeare att the said Towne called Salters Towne the first of them uppon the last [...]

with dikes and quicksett twenty acres of Irish measure of the woods and woodgrounds parcel of the foresaid premises, and the same with good and sufficient fences and enclosures shall well and sufficiently preserve and keep during the said term, and also the same twenty acres shall during the said term preserve and keep as coppicewoods from hurt and spoil, and upon every fell that shall be made thereof shall new encoppice the same with sufficient fences and enclosures after the manner and usage in England, and shall also preserve and keep upon every acre of the foresaid twenty acres at every felling and cutting thereof thirty young storiers and thirty standalls of oak and ash fit to make timber trees. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to ratify and confirm this agreement by his letters patent under the Great Seal of England, and that the said Ralph Whistler shall covenant and grant thereby for him, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on his part. And the said Ralph Whistler doth humbly desire his Majesty to be graciously pleased to make and create this said late Manor of Sal, and all the lands in the aforesaid Proportion into a manor with a court baron, the same manor to be called by such name as to his Majesty shall seem fitting. And the said Ralph Whistler to have and keep the said court baron by his sufficient Steward or Stewards according to the laws and customs of England, and have all the fines, issues, and amerciaments, and profits of the said court during the said term, and make, keep, and deliver the like book of the said court, as of the said court leet. Except and always reserving to his Majesty all the rents and reliefs of all and every the freeholders and others holden, or to be holden, of the said manor. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Ralph Whistler have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The five and twentieth day of the said month of September, the foresaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Thomas Windsor of Ballyscullion in the late county of Londonderry, esquire, do conclude and agree that the said Thomas and his assigns shall have and hold all those two townlands commonly called or known by the several name or names of Ballydermot and Ballynocker, and the half-townland of Tede[…], or by whatsoever other names the same or any of them be called or known, containing by estimation […]e hundred and four-score acres Irish measure, with all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions, and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of thirty pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and James Young beforenamed are contained, save only that the said Thomas is not bound or tied by this agreement to build a house as the said James by his said agreement is to do.
